Auto Glass Technology Is Rapidly Changing and Adapting to Your Vehicle’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Is More Critical Than Ever Before

We’re Here for YOU and YOUR SAFETY

A-1 Glass proudly offers state-of-the-art windshield camera calibration services to protect you and your family after your windshield replacement service is completed.

What Is Calibration?
Calibration is the process of returning a vehicle’s ADAS to OEM specifications. Calibration is necessary after a new glass installation, particularly a windshield with a camera mounted to it, to ensure that the ADAS features (cameras and sensors) continue to function properly despite having been moved during installation.

Below is a list of some of the common Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS):
* Forward collision warning
* Automatic emergency braking
* Adaptive cruise control
* Lane departure warning
* Lane keeping assist
* Blind spot monitoring
* Rear cross traffic alert
* Parking assist/self-parking
* Adaptive headlights that steer with the vehicle
* Automatic headlight high-beam activation and dimming

Why do I need my windshiled recalibrated?

Safety is the primary reason why windshield recalibration is necessary. Your vehicle’s camera affects every safety function linked to the ADAS SYSTEM. A misaligned camera can potentially compromise the functionality of the system and lead to driving accidents.
