CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

Glazier/Window & Door Installer (2 Yrs. Construction Experience Required) – FULL TIME
HOURS:  Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm

Our reputable family-owned and operated company is looking for qualified Window Installers to join our team. This is a great opportunity to be a valuable long term part of a local company who takes care of its employees! We are a very busy construction company offering competitive a compensation package with LOTS of room to grow as you become more valuable to the team and demonstrate leadership.

Specific experience in glass or window installation is not necessary, but is a plus. You must have 2+ years of construction experience and basic finish carpentry skills and tools (including but limited to impact driver and drill set) and a willingness to learn. Cleanliness and attention to detail are a must. We are looking for a team player and will train right person for the job! This is a full-time job, Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm. Must be on time and reliable.

Company vehicles are provided to our installer teams along with all installation materials. Must have a valid CA Drivers license. We are looking for long term, serious applicants only.

We offer $20 – $30/hour DOE plus health benefits including dental, matching retirement contribution, paid holidays and paid vacation after completion of the probation period.

Expert Window Tinter (3 Yrs. Experience Required) – subcontractor or employee option
Hours: TBD

We are hiring immediately for an experienced Window Tinter/Tint Technician for both auto and flat residential and commercial glass. Ideal candidate has 3+ years of excellent window tinting experience, knowledge of paint protection film is a plus but not required.

Company provided state-of-the-art plotter technology and film. We have all the tools, but appreciate you supplying your own, if available.

Candidate must be honest, pay attention to detail, be presentable and friendly with customers. We are only looking for candidates who are willing and hardworking and most importantly, bring a positive attitude to work every day.

We are offering a competitive wage starting at $30+/hour DOE for an employee or commission for Independent Contractor’s (min $200+/day) with their own business license and insurance in a good strong work environment within an extremely busy shop, covering the entire San Luis Obispo county. Lead Auto Glass Installer (3-5 Yrs. Experience Required) – FULL TIME
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Our reputable family owned and operated glass shop on the Central Coast is looking for a skilled auto glass technician to join and lead our auto glass team.

We are offering $20-$30/hour (depending on experience) for error-free workmanship and efficiency, medical benefits, retirement, paid vacation, holidays and more. A company vehicle will be provided along with all installation tools and materials.

Customer Service & Administrative Assistant  – FULL or PART TIME
Days: Monday – Friday

Candidate must have a reliable means of transportation to work, be professional, extremely organized, love to multi-task, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a friendly and fast paced environment where every day is different. This entry-level position is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a professional business environment with the desire to grow into an Inside Sales or Estimator role.

The role of the Customer Service & Administrative Assistant is to support the Automotive and Residential Project Team Members with all things customer service including walk-ins, phones, service questions and submittals, scheduling, payment processing, ordering, invoicing and act as a resource and support person for our Executive team. This position is considered both a front facing customer service and administrative position, and is primarily responsible for answering a very busy phone line, taking detailed notes, helping walk-in customers, delegating messages, filing, and reporting.

Window & Door Estimator (Experience Required) – FULL TIME
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

We are hiring immediately for an experience Window & Door Estimator to join our team. Applicants MUST HAVE existing experience and knowledge in the window and door industry with a keen understanding of reading architectural blueprints with the ability to perform takeoffs. Must have excellent sales and customer service abilities as well computer skills with proficiency in excel. Candidate must be reliable, professional, extremely organized, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a friendly and fast paced environment while working with customers both on the phone and in-person. We want to invest in a team player who wants to grow with us and is interested in long-term employment.

This position is considered a sales position, and is primarily responsible for turning around estimates in a timely and efficient manner and carefully processing orders for the projects sold. Ability or experience to assist in project management is a major plus. The position works closely with leads on the install team, upper management and has the support of a Customer Service Representative team. Building rapport with new and existing customers including contractors and providing product knowledge is a must. The ideal candidate for this position is a true company and team player who enjoys a challenge with sales rewards; excellent interpersonal and communication skills is vital for this position.
Required experience:

Warehouse/Inventory Lead or Assistant – FULL TIME
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm + overtime

We are looking for an awesome candidate to join our Warehouse and Installation Team. This role will lead all receiving, special handling and inventory management of our windows, doors and glass products and will work closely with the Project Managers and Installation Teams to facilitate all activities within our warehouse facility. This professional multitasker manages and ensures quality and safety standards are met on the premises and is able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time as well as ensures efficient, organized storage. This role achieves inventory accuracy, coordinates orders with the office team, and tracks shipping/product arrival times as well as supports management in overseeing technician team performance while in the warehouse.

Additionally, this role provides secondary support in field installations and deliveries as needed, giving you an opportunity to learn a new trade.



Objectives of this Role


  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with safety, organization and cleanliness the primary goal

  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, receiving processes, and shipping

  • Solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics

  • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations

Requirements


1-3+ years experience in a warehouse or retail inventory management role is a plus but not required


  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy

  • Able to utilize a computer with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50-75 lbs
• Ability to work overtime as needed

  • Able to safely handle and lift windows and doors that are 50+/- lbs regularly

  • Keen instinct on safety standards and comfortable enforcing safety SOPs in compliance with OSHA standards

  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
• Familiarity to safely use a hand-held fork lift, dolly, blower, use of hand tools including drills
